AviMan allows you to manage the sales of your birds. You may generate sales invoices and maintain the stock of your birds in one easy step. However first you need to enter the data for your customers. In the Menu Bar Click on Edit->Contacts. This will open the contacts form. Here you can maintain an address book of all your aviary contacts including your customers, suppliers and other breeders. If the customers has not been previously defined then fill in the information and click on the Update button in the toolbar to save.
To generate an invoice, click on File->New Invoice in the Menu Bar. In the customer drop-down select the relevant customer. In the bird column enter the band number or any part of the birds name that you wish to sell. All matching results will be displayed. Select the desired bird and enter the sale price. To add another bird repeat the process in the row below. Please note that only birds with their status set to For Sale will appear here. If you have not already done so, you will have to edit the bird and set the correct status. Once you have selected all the birds and filled in their prices, you may add an additional charge or discount at the bottom. Use a negative number to indicate a discount. You may also enter a description of this charge/discount that will be printed on the invoice. Click Save to generate your invoice. The status of the birds you have just invoiced is automatically set to Sold.
The invoices will be listed in the List frame when you click the Invoices node in the tree. To print a particular invoice select it in the List, Right-click to open the popup menu and select Print. You may also edit or delete a previously created invoice.
